Eating Steamboat in Tianjin

Pic: In China cucumber is a common dish and prepared in many ways. Here it is dipped in a sauce. Other places it is slightly pan fried.

Pic: The temperature outside was minus 6 degrees so it was good to have hot hot steamboat. The right side is a hot soup base. I normally prefer the spicy soup but here the clear soup is very nice as in Malaysia it is just a soup of chicken stock but here it is boiled fragrantly with many Chinese herbs.

Pic: Myself with Michael Chuah the CEO of StemTech.

Stem Tech is a stem cell bank located in Malaysia and is the only one in Asia-Pac with a Class 100 clean room.

There is cord blood banking for your new born baby and also adult stem cell banking (lymphoid cells only for now, and mesynchmal  cells later).

Where the skies are still blue

Pic: Sunset at Point Cook (7pm)

Pics below: back home the skies are more often gray, but here it is still blue. As kids we often paint the sky blue in our drawings so it is assuring that in some parts of the world it is still blue in colour.

Christmas decoration in Point Cook suburb (Melbourne)

Pic: Below is the biggest Santa I have seen at a private residence.

Pic: Santa tried to get into the house last night to leave some presents but he could not get through the door as he is too BIG!

Pic: Below is a decorative light that you can buy from Safeway supermarket. This is my friend, Allan and Christy's house.

Pic: Below is a few doors away with the reindeer and even the roof of the house is lighted.

Eating real authentic Korean food with Jean in Auckland

Pic: below is a rice that goes with a gravy dish besides it.

Pic: below is Korean beef. They are simply the best at grilling beef.

Pic: This dish you will never order if you were not with a Korean. It is ox intestines cooked in a traditional fermented sauce that taste and smells like "smelly taufu". It has a very unique taste and something you must try!

Pic: I thought only the Japanese had their saki, but Jean brought out Korean rice wine which is very drinkable as it taste pleasantly like soya bean.
