Fund rasing at Hulu Langat 14 mile Chinese School

Dad is the Chairman of the Board of Governer (董事长） of his hometown Chinese Primary School for the last 10 years. Here is dad giving a speech during a fund-raising dinner of 135 tables to raise RM500,000 for the school to furnish their new classroom building. I hope my business will do well and also contibute my part to help the Chinese schools.

On the left is Ale and then right is Czech Pilsner. We had Mackarel spread and wedges for starters, then I had some sausages for dinner. I tried all the different beers they brewed and went home at 11pm.

The drinks are really nice and contains L-carnitine which is good for weight loss, heart and stamina. Formulation already approved with authorities.

Talk in Batu Pahat

I did a day trip to Batu Pahat to give a talk. On the way back the highway at Seremban section was jammed and I was crawling there for 1 hour from 8.45 to 9.45pm.

This is a very interesting book that I am reading and describes how China is influencing world politics.

China's capitalistic and authoritarian model has challenged the West' views on liberalism and democracy. The credibility and appeal of the US is also tarnished by the prolonged wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. On the economic front, China has extended soft loans to the 3rd world nations while in the past the West used vehicles like the IMF and the World Bank to control these nations for their own political capital.

The West's campaign against tyranny and autocratic rule is also being challenged by China's support of many autocratic regimes in the world. That's all I got time for now....

A Korean exhibitor gave me a foot mask which I asked mum to try. I knew there were mask for the face but a mask for the foot is new to me!

I am not much of a movie goer and hardly watch TV, but I quite enjoyed watching this series with my family at home.

Each forensic case was always a suspense and I was suprised I could stay up late to keep watching the series.

Happy Mothers' Day

I have slowed down blogging as my 5 year-old Mac has konked out. Now using a new PC. Was thinking of a new Mac but my favorite Bible Soft 3.0 program did not work in my Mac (even after fragmenting the hard drive space for Microsoft programs) hence no gospel writings published by me since 5 years ago as I need the software, to check verses, concordance etc.

I have tried many Bible programs but only like PC Bible Soft.
