Batu caves - a Kuala Lumpur tourist attraction

Batu caves is a Malaysian tourist attraction and is a limestone  hill which has a series of caves and cave temples. It is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside of India.

Above; There 272 steps. Not a lot but consider that during Thaipussam a Hindu festival, people pull carriages etc with hooks at their back (hooked into the flesh) and they have to drag it up.
