Ibuki Japanese Restaurant

This is a lovely Japanese Rest in Far Eastern Hotel

Our little glass cubicle for 4 person

The water feature along the corridor

The napkin being folded like a rabbit

This is the ibuki plant which the restaurant is named after.

The meals are serve on this trough

Seaweed jelly for starters

Look at the slanting glass ........

Left-right:
Ika ninjin (marinated julienne cut squid and carrot in sweet soy sauce); Junsai (water shield); Touburi (edible seeds)

multiple spices

3 types of fresh seafood

This was the Simmered pacific Salmon & Salmon roe (eggs) on a steam rice. I forgot to take a photo of the content as was taken away by the beautiful bowl in which it is served.

Stewed wagyu beef, taro and vege in a savory broth (SIMPLY DELICIOUS!)

Deep fried prawn and scallop wrapped in walnut tofu

Walnut sweet miso paste in dumpling
