I left my luggage in a taxi boot in HK at 4pm. I was going to Citic Tower in Admiralty and rushed for an appointment and forgot that my luggage was in the boot. Fortunately I took a receipt which had the taxi number on it.
I lodged a police report at Wan Chai at 5pm and in 90mins the taxi also left it in a police station but one that was damn far (over 1 hour to get there as it was at the extreme end of HK, and near China). He had left it in Teun Mun police station. The police both at Wan Chai and Teun Mun were very courteous and very nice. (which is not the case in many other countries).
